Monotheism: Belief in one god

Dualism: Belief in two gods

Polytheism: Belief in many gods

Kilotheism: Belief in one thousand gods

Randotheism: Belief in a random number of gods. (Not to be confused with the belief that Ayn Rand is God, which is called "Objectivism")

Atheism: Belief that god is imaginary

Itheism: Belief in an imaginary number of gods

Henotheism: Belief that there are many gods, only one of whom is important

Hennatheism: Belief that God is covered with Middle Eastern body art

Hentaitheism: Belief that God is a pervert

Henohennahentaitheism: Belief that there are many gods, only one of whom is a pervert covered in Middle Eastern body art

Heterotheism: Belief in all gods (or goddesses) who are the opposite sex as you.

Constitutional monotheism: Belief that there is only one God, but that all His decisions must be confirmed by Parliament.

Deism: Belief that God exists, but has no effect on the universe

Henodeism: Belief that many gods exist who have no effect on the universe, but only one of whose lack of effect is important

Agnosticism: Belief that you do not know whether or not God exists

Meta-agnosticism: Belief that you do not know whether you are an agnostic or not

Metatheism: Belief in belief in God

Megatheism: Belief that God is very big.

Necrotheism: Belief that God is dead

Negrotheism: Belief that God is black

Tautotheism: Belief in the gods you believe in

Allotheism: Belief that whatever god you believe in, it'll probably turn out to be another one who actually exists

Cryptotheism: Belief in a God who is deliberately hiding evidence of His existence.

Godelotheism: Belief that God exists, but you can't prove it.

Russellotheism: Belief only in those gods who do not believe in themselves

Tertulliotheism: Belief in any god whom it would be absurd to believe in

Thalassotheism: Belief in the Sea God

Nah, cryptotheism is just if you believe in a god who is deliberately hiding which god he is. If you believe he's hiding evidence of his existence entirely, that'd be stegotheism.

Saurotheism is more properly, Kaijutheism, the worship of gigantic monsters. (A Saurotheist would be someone who worships dinosaurs, not someone who worships a gigantic mutant lizard.)

Once, for an April 1st ritual I performed the rites of the Church of Radioactive animals. You can arrange the names of Japanese monsters to correspond to the "Isis Astarte" chant. Rodan, Ebirah, Angillus, Megalon, Mothra, Spiga, Godzil-ilah!

Isotheism - Belief in a God the same size as you. Not too be confused with I.S.O.theism - the International Standardization Organisations template for extremely well defined theism.


Metametatheism - Belief in belief in belief in God.

Regress theism - Belief in belief in belief in belief in belief in belief in.... God. (Practitioners compete to reach the longest possible loop without collapsing from heat exhaustion of existential angst).
